This workshop is designed to gently introduce students to essay writing fundamentals in a low-pressure, supportive environment. Students will learn how to organize ideas, write clear paragraphs, and build a complete 5-paragraph essay step by step.

This is a self-paced version of the workshop, which means students can take as much time as they need to complete the course. The live version is six weeks long, but there are no weekly deadlines in the self-paced workshop. You will need access to Google Slides and Google Docs to complete this workshop.
Because this version does not include live instruction or teacher feedback, a parent/guardian, tutor, or another trusted adult should be available to review assignments and provide feedback as the student works through the course. If you decide you would like extra support, the optional instructor feedback add-on can be purchased separately at any point during the workshop.
