Spark a Love of Writing!
Freeform Workshop is an online learning community for creative tweens and teens who love reading books, writing stories, thinking deep thoughts, and jumping into the sweet, sweet chaos that ensues when readers gather to discuss a polarizing book.
We offer book clubs, writing courses, literature courses, and self-paced programs for tweens and teens (11+) who want to share ideas, make friends, and create cool stuff together in a safe and inclusive space.
Students in our programs learn how stories work, how essays are easier than they think, how writers ruin their characters lives, and how readers can think critically about everything they encounter. Along the way, they practice peer-to-peer discussions, revision, analysis, and creative risk-taking in a fun and supportive environment.
At Freeform Workshop, students are encouraged to show up as their weird and wonderful selves. The goal is not to force every learner into the same mold, but to help each student build the tools, confidence, and curiosity they need to grow as a reader, writer, and thinker.

Find Your People. Grow Your Skills.
If you’ve been looking for a community where your creative teen can thrive both socially and intellectually, you’re in the right place!
